Both give you a real audiobook with chapters that plays offline. The free option is genuinely unlimited, so you can convert as many books as you like. Premium is there for the ones you want to sound their best.
What about privacy?
On-device conversion never leaves your phone. If you choose premium AI narration, the book text is sent to the server, turned into audio, and discarded right after. It is not stored. The full details are in the privacy policy.
